Tweedy Spey Valley Socks
pattern: Spey Valley by Nancy Bush from Knitting on the Road
yarn: Regia Tweed 6-ply, colour 90, 125g.
needles: 3mm ebony dpns
comments: I changed to thicker yarn and needles in order to knit man's size socks. I casted on 63 sts (as in the pattern) and then decreased to 56 after the horizontal band.
kommentit: neuloin sukat paksummalla langalla, ja niistä tuli miehen jalkaan sopivat. Aloitin ohjeen mukaisella silmukkamäärällä (63) ja kavensin 56:een silmukkaan koristeraidan jälkeen.

Koolhaas hat for my daughter and
A fire engine red Jacques Cousteau hat for my son.
Tyttärelle Koolhaas ja pojalle tulipunainen Jacques Cousteaun inspiroima pipo.
A psychedelic Chevron scarf in Wollmeise's (discontinued) 6-ply (in Poison Nr. 5 + Birkenrinde) . I casted on 72 sts as I wanted a wider scarf. Loving it so far!
Chevron-huivi! Vihdoinkin puikoilla. Lanka on Wollmeisen lopetettua 6-säikeistä villalankaa (väreinä Birkenrinde ja Poison Nr.5). Teen huivista vähän leveämmän version, silmukoita nyt 72. Tykkään, ainakin toistaiseksi.
Monkey socks (These are practically finished. I only have to graft the last toe.) Great pattern, so easy to memorize.
Monkey-sukat. Nämä ovat käytännössä valmiit. Enää yksi kärki silmukoimatta.

The wonderful Fleece Artist 3-ply Merino DK was bought from Knitty Noddy. I just checked the site to catch the link and couldn't help but notice that they had a new shipment of this stuff TODAY. 20 colours to choose from.....
Fleece Artistin Merino 3/6 on hankittu Knitty Noddysta (Annash:n vika!). Kävin hakemassa linkkiä sieltä, enkä voinut olla huomaamatta että uusi erä kyseistä herkkua oli saapunut kauppaan TÄNÄÄN. 20 väriä...

Holy moly, that's quite the update. Such lovely things. I especially love your Nancy Bush socks. The combination of the classy, neutral colour with the traditional pattern is wonderful.
Todella tyylikäs malli miesten sukkiin. Chevronhuivia olen itsekin katsellut sillä silmällä. Kunhan oikea väriyhdistelmä löytyy, niin puikoille lähtee, niin mehevältä näyttää tuo psykedeelinen versio!
Oih, täällähän oli vaikka mitä ihanaa! Ja Fleece artistit on ihanan värisiä *lääh*
